These were taken around 4 hours apart last weekend. Seeing was below average on both occasions and with high clouds.

Here's another web cam image I took on the 26th of February. This was 1200 out of 1500 frames stacked. The planet was at it's closest approach the night before.

This image is by far my best yet on all the planets. Taken friday night, under good conditions with my web cam, this is 650 frames processed out of 1200. If you look close you can make out the Cassini Division. Now, if I had just a little bit more apeture...

The Ringed Planet

I couldn't wait to capture some web cam images of Saturn. Although seeing was a 2/5, I was still able to get some detail. I used QC Focus to capture 450 frames and processed 287 frames with Registax4.

Jupiter & Saturn 2007

I finally installed some stacking software for my webcam, so I've been playing with some of last years video images. I plan on geting some current images of the ringed planet this weekend...if the weather permits.
